Coming from Bucharest, Cluj, Iasi, Brasov or from anywhere else, please get off the train at Suceava train station - this is the main train station (local people know it as BURDUJENI train station -  a massive red brick modern building, pronounced "boor-doo-geni"). Some trains also stop again at Suceava Nord train station (local people call it ITCANI, pronounced "eets-kan"). Remember that not all trains stop at Suceava Nord as well, so my suggestion is to get off at the first one, BURDUJENI. From any of the train stations to the city center, you'll travel 5 km by bus. The trip takes like 15 to 20 min. IT'S EASY! THERE IS NO NEED TO TAKE A TAXI!!!

 From BURDUJENI train station to the city center:

If you are in the SUCEAVA (BURDUJENI) railway station, just jump on bus # 2 (pay 1.5 lei onboard to the lady in the bus, and she gives you a bus ticket, no need to buy tickets in advance). Get off the bus at McDonald's  and you are in Piata 22 Decembrie which is the center of Suceava city.

From ITCANI train station to the city center:

In case you got off the train at Suceava Nord (ITCANI) train station, you have to take bus # 5 and do the same thing.

From city center to High Class Hostel:

Standing backwards to McDonald's just walk up Nicolae Balcescu Street until the round about. Here the street splits in 4 streets: take the 2nd one from your left, clockwise (this is Mihai Eminescu Street). Walk up until you see a tall massive building on your right - some 3 floors (known by locals as "BAIA", there was a sauna inside) - on this building there is a big poster saying TRANS DMV EUROPA and another sign with OPTIMEDIA. Here you turn left and walk another 150m. The hostel is a white and purple house on your left hand side. Walking from city center to High Class Hostel will take you maximum 10 min.

From the bus station (AUTOGARA) to High Class Hostel:

Stand backwards to the sign of Atlassib and walk the street to the right: now you are at the round about, where the road splits in 4 directions (from a different street this time), take the 3rd one clockwise from your left (this is Mihai Eminescu Street). Walk up until you see a tall massive building on your right - some 3 floors (known by locals as "BAIA", there was a sauna inside) - on this building there is a big poster saying TRANS DMV EUROPA and another sign with OPTIMEDIA. Here you turn left and walk another 150m. The hostel is a white and purple house on your left hand side. Walking from the Bus Station ("Autogara") to High Class Hostel will take you 5 min. NO NEED TO TAKE A TAXI!!!

By Plane: Suceava has its own airport, so you can fly from Bucharest and Timisoara directly. The airport is 16 km away. We can also arrange airport pick up, if you let us know when you arrive. There is no shuttle bus from the airport. The pick up service costs 40 lei.
